Haversham & Baker
I am writing this letter to thank you for a job well done. I was just recently in Belfast, Ireland on a golf trip with your company from June 30 to July 5, 2006. While I was there my briefcase was stolen at a nice restaurant. My briefcase contained my Passport, phone, money, wallet, credit cards, etc. I have an American Express Centurion (Black) card and they did absolutely nothing to help me in this emergency. I am a seasoned traveler and this is the first time something like this has happened to me.
Your office was very helpful but most of all your Driver Dave was incredible and went way above the call of duty. After many, many phone calls I determined that I had to go to the Consulate in Belfast and stay an extra day while my group (7 friends) flew home on our assigned flight. Needless to say I was very upset about this. After we dropped the other members of the group at the airport, Dave started driving me to the Hilton and consulate in Belfast. It turns out that one of my friends told a Continental employee of my situation and this employee thought they might be able to get me on the flight with an expired passport which my wife sent overnight per your main offices help.
Dave then proceeded to turn the bus around and he came to the airport with me and stayed with me for over an hour while I worked things out. It turns out that I was able to fly home with my friends, but I can’t thank Dave enough for helping and staying with me. If things did not work out at the airport, Dave was going to still drive me out of his way to Belfast. Dave helped me in this extremely stressful situation by making phone calls, talking to airline employees, etc. I can’t thank him enough.
Again, thank you for a superior job and I look forward to booking another trip with your Company in the future to Scotland or England. Actually, can you send me information in regard to these trips and itineraries?
Sincerely,
Stephen
