It’s more than just a golf trip…

Throughout our three decades of service, nothing has distinguished Haversham & Baker more than our steadfast belief that enjoying the Good Life which surrounds fine golf courses is just as important to the overall experience as playing them.

The Good Life across the pond can take on many forms, but regardless of how Life at its Best is enjoyed on your Expedition, you can rest assured of a few things…

It’s on your terms.

Exactly how much or how little of your Expedition is comprised of the Good Life is entirely up to you.

For some, Life at its Best means dining at a Michelin star restaurant in the heart of Dublin, or savoring the finest fish & chips in Scotland around the corner from The Old Course.

For others, it’s resting the body and clubs for an entire day, exploring the local heritage and culture in the company of a private guide.

Still others opt to enjoy Golf and the Good Life in equal measure, with multiple days spent away from the course in favor of other enriching experiences.

Our custom approach to the Good Life even applies within the group itself.

Simply put, a golfing Expedition doesn’t mean that everyone has to play golf. Ever notice how other companies refer to travelers who don’t play golf as “non-golfers”? Speaks volumes, doesn’t it? They care so little about those who are traveling without the clubs that they don’t even bother to come up with a name for them.

We call them “Tourists,” and we cater to their expectations with the same level of service as their golfing companions.

You can throw away the guidebook.

While some companies might include a list of restaurants in their welcome packet or feature a random sightseeing stop as an afterthought to their pre-packaged itinerary, we shun the one-size-fits-all approach to the Good Life.

Instead, your Expedition Planning Manager and Concierge will get to know both you and your group, to ensure that every minute of your trip – and every dollar from your wallet – is focused solely on the things that matter to you.

Best of all… Your Concierge will handle booking all of these activities for you. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the Good Life.

From the Cliffs of Moher and Guinness Storehouse, to the St. Andrews Cathedral and Windsor Castle, every region for outstanding golf features its share of marquee Good Life attractions. And although many of our Expeditions will visit these points of interest, our travelers often find their journey is enhanced by activities not found on the TripAdvisor top-10 list.

Whether it’s distilling your own recipe for gin, horseback riding down the beaches of Ireland, or one of the unique experiences described by our partners in the video below.

We were there first.

In today’s ever connected world, it would be easy to provide Good Life suggestions based on whatever Google or ChatGPT returns.

The unfortunate thing about internet reviews, however, is that they’re easily manipulated. As a result, this is one area where we still choose to go about things the old fashioned way: with boots on the ground.

Every aspect of an H&B Expedition – from the hotels and restaurants, to the golf courses and Good Life activities – has been personally vetted by a member of our senior staff.

Because when it comes to Life at its Best, we’re simply unwilling to leave it in the hands of a few comments on Yelp.

If want to stop and smell the roses; if you care about where you eat, where you drink and where you sleep; if you want to get in touch with the local history and culture; if you don’t want to waste a minute off the course doing something that’s of no interest to you, then we’re the right choice.

You “get it” and we’ve built our company for people just like you.
