Poulnabrone The Burren

Perfect Pairing – The Burren

Located near the links at Lahinch, The Burren is a sprawling UNESCO geopark formed by glaciers some 350 million years ago. In addition to the lunar landscape, one will also find the Poulnabrone dolmen which dates to approximately 4000 BC. The Major’s advice: Extend your drive to include the coastal route back to Lahinch, but go early to avoid the crowds.

This week’s off-season throwback comes courtesy of a glorious day at Ballybunion in 2014 and Paul Ellerbeck of Dubuque Golf & Country Club… A few seconds later, this one found the bottom of the cup.
